Is anyone else who lives in crossing place having trouble accessing
cs.utexas.edu sites again. Because I am, and i am wondering why the problem
popped up again.

i have switched over to the residential RR service and amnot having
problems, however last time it happeend when i was on crossingplace's
internet I called timewarner and they came out and fixed it, there some
firewall intheirr network that is blocking cs.utexas.edu for some
strange reason.

My theory is it sees "suspicous" SSH connections and thinking somethings
being hacked... ehhe stupid time warner...

heres the number 512-531-2321

tell them it as happened before and they fixed it before... it should be
the same guy that comes out, there are only 5 techs that do road runner
biz class in Austin!!!! crazy

in the mean time, you can access it through google's translate service,
just pick japanese to english and it wont change the text.

or any other proxy....

The exact same thing happened to me over the weekend. It just within the
past couple hours that I can access the cs.utexas.edu domain again. This is
very poor timing....

Yeah, a friend clued me in on a program on bevoware, Cisco Systems VPN
Client. It will act like a proxy, it connects to the university, for
whatever program you use. So if anyone else has problems, it would be
useful to give the program a try.

Yeah, I discovered it sometime last week, but I didn't even think to use it
until it was too late. Thanks for reminding me.
